Overview

OCAS was introduced for admissions in Intermediate programmes (F.A./F.Sc./ICS etc.) in public sector colleges. It launched in 2011, initially for 24 colleges in nine divisional headquarters.

HED credits its adoption to convenience, transparency, affordability and minimal technology requirements.
